Kay Kraft’s fashion collections

All fashion houses always try to bring out new designs for customers bearing different occassions. For the past 20 years, Kay Kraft has been working hard to present our traditional handloom products in a new, more attractive way in their clothing line, reports daily star.

Kay Kraft offers a variety of new saris, shalwar kameez sets, tops, panjabis, fatuas, shirts, T-shirts, children’s wear, gift items and items for home décor.

The new line includes a lot of blue, green, magenta, red and black. This year’s sari collection consists of handloom taant saris designed by Kay Kraft that have block prints, screen prints, embroidery, appliqués and other handiworks.

There are other saris as well with katha stitch, Kashmiri work, sequins work, tie n’ dye in contrast and all in vibrant colours. Their sari collection also includes saris of Muslin, silk and khadi. The price range of saris is from Tk 395-2000.

For shalwar kameez sets, Kay Kraft has much to offer. There are kameezes of different cuts, designs and fabrics. Kay Kraft has used their own weaved taant material along with different kinds of silk and cotton that come with tribal dupattas and intricate work.

A lot of variation has been brought into fatuas and tops while children’s wear has been designed to convey certain messages. With pictures of fishes, aeroplanes, birds and animals apparel for children ranging from Tk.120-1500.

For Kay Kraft’s Panjabi collection, khadi, tribal handloom fabric, cotton, a variety of silks and much more has been used in shades of blue, maroon, black, olive etc. There are striped panjabis also. These panjabis have a price range of Tk 650-4000.
